Our new Want List Module makes it easy to track client requests and automate the task of sending out match notifications. When you load new inventory to your catalog our algorithm compares those new items with your current want list and notifies you in realtime. You then have the option to 'pitch' the match to the client or 'pass' the match if you don't think they'd like the toning, etc. all from this dedicated screen.
To access the module in the admin menu, navigate to: Digital Studio NW / Dealer Tools / Want List
Here's a look at the Want List Dashboard:
We added a new statistic charts to keep track of your work and you can filter and print individual lists or the entire list to a CSV file export (for Excel or Numbers on a Mac). To do this, just click on the Export down arrow just above the right side of the pager icons for the grid and choose CSV format - the file will download via your browser.
How to Start:
To add a new want list item is an easy process like creating an order. Just click on the Add New button (upper right) and then add the item specific attributes. Click on save and the item checks your active inventory as well as any new matches you may load into inventory in the future.
The admin user(s) with notification emails setup in config will receive match notifications as product matches occur. You can then, navigate to the dashboard, choose 'pitch' if you want to send the client a notification, or 'pass' if you think the client wouldn't be interested.
We created these choices based on our client feedback to allow human interaction to avoid pitching a coin you know the client wouldn't approve of like a blast white coin to a toned coined specialist and vice versa.
After pitching an item, the pitch button will change to a green button labeled 'notified' and a confirmation bar will confirm that you sent your email out to the client in the dashboard.
We hope you'll find this new module helpful and save you time managing your want lists.
